Le Poire's lake was stocked with over 250lbs of carp
in 2004, to add to the already impressive stock.
No fishing permit is required to fish at Le Poire, but you will
need one if you wish to fish off site.
With
almost 2 acres to fish, you won't have any trouble finding a peg
on Le Poire Blanc's spring fed private lake. best of all, the
fishing is included in the price when you book your holiday!
The main species in
the lake is carp, at least one of which is 36lb! There's also
a sprinkling of 20's, and a good head of mid doubles. You can
also expect to catch bream to 7lb, tench, roach, and perch.
Almost any bait will
score on here but the carp are rather fond of pellet or pellet
paste. Use boilies to get past the smaller fish if the carp are
your main target. Fish maggot, corn, bread, or meat for a lucky
dip bag of fish!
The lake is extremely well stocked and no one should struggle
to catch, whether an experienced angler, or a complete newbie.

Rules are kept to a minimum and all we ask is that you use barbless
hooks, unhooking mats, and no keep nets.
